Propun sa includem in acest nou subiect tot ce este despre caile ferate maghiare, sa includem si pe cele mai vechi legate de MAV (o sa rog pe administrator): Oradea - Budapesta si cateva poze, Din istoria MAV, Tutorial de cumparat bilete mav de pe net.   Am rugamintea sa facem apoi un subiect INFORMATII si noutati MAV. (pe langa cele tranferate din directorul INTERNATIONAL). As dori sa postez un email cu informatii importante pe care l-am primit azi de la MAV, in limbile engleza si maghiara. Multumesc

My name is George R. from Romania, and I would like to ask you some information.
My first 2 questions are about MAV inland travel: We are two people from Romania, and we would like to travel from Biharkeresztes to Keleti, and then to Praha hl n. We bought 2 SparDay tickets Keleti - Praha, so we need tickets from Biharkeresztes to Keleti, for 12th of August. But about that tickets: I am a student (25), and I knew that in 2011, for EU students Mav had a 50% discount for inland tickets. I have my ID Student Card from Bucharest University, with stamp and picture, but I don't know if it's valid to use it, so I would like to ask you that.
The second question is about my friend, who had the possibility to travel 33% discount in weekend, being under 26 since now. He will have 26 on sunday, 6 august, and I would like to ask you, if we buy the ticket with 33% discount now, from the internet, when he is still 25, there will be valid to use it for 12 august?
The next 3 questions are about international travel, and international connexions: I usually travel from Nagyvarad or BIharkeresztes to Praha, with separate tickets, both being bought from the internet. SparDay tickets are valid only for one train and date, so if the first train is delayed (BIharkeresztes - Keleti), and I miss the train Keleti - Praha, what can I do? There is the possibility to receive another ticket, from the office, for the next train, without paying? (losing the train is not my fault..). And what can I do if the lost train is the last for that day? (example for return, train 275 Slovan, followed by 407 Corona, who is the last)?
For the route Keleti - Arad, I am interested about the legality of travelling with 2 separate and complementary tickets: Keleti-Lokoshaza and Lokoshaza -Arad (this option is cheaper for students). A controller wanted to fine us because we traveled in this way, and we couldn't understand why. Is there a problem with this type of travelling, in 2 parts?
My last question is about the internet inland tickets, who are valid only for one train and date. This type of ticket can be changed or refunded if the traveller cannot use that train any more, or he would like to use another?

Please, be so kind, and answer me to these questions about:
- Student discount
- Buying ticket Under 26
- losing connexion, losing last train,
- refunding/changing internet tickets on the office
- international travelling with 2 tickets

Also, please answer in english and in hungarian (for showing your answer to the controller every time when is necessary).

In Hungarian inland traffic the student cards provided by schools/universities of the EU and EEA are accepted. If you have such card, then you can get 50 % discount from the full price 2nd class ticket. The ISIC cards (provided by travel agencies or student cooperatives) are not accepted. The card must contain the name and photo of the passenger. If there is no photo on it, then you must also have a photo ID with you to prove your identity (e.g. a passport, or driving license). The card must also contain the name and location of the institute, and it should also contain some validity information.
The youth discount can be used only under the age of 26. The passenger is entitled for the use of this discount if he/she is under the age of 26 at the time of the journey.
Concerning your question of connection, the trains are counted as connections, when changing trains at main station of Budapest (e.g. at Budapest-Keleti station), if the arrival and departure are at the same station, and there is at least 30 minutes between the two train according to the schedule. In this situation, if you miss the connection at Keleti station, you should go the the personal customer service office, where the colleagues will inform you about the possibilities according to the situation (ticket change, refund, accomodation in case of losing lost connection, etc.).
In case of purchasing home printed domestic tickets online, the ticket is only valid for the selected train. If there is some change in the plan, and the passenger cannot travel with the selected train, then the ticket can be refunded online with 10% reduction at least 1 hour before the selected departure time.
Travelling with international trains in the descibed way is not allowed. If you take a direct international train, then you cannot have domestic tickets purchased separately, you must have a valid international train ticket for the whole trip. If you do not have the ticket this way, then the conductor will make you pay a penalty, and it is justifiable according to the international travelling rules.

Ha a diákigazolványt nem Magyarországon állították ki, a kedvezményre jogosultság igazolására csak abban az esetben használható fel, ha a jogosultság adatai az igazolványról egyértelműen megállapíthatóak
 az igazolványt az Európai Unió vagy az Európai Gazdasági Térség egyik tagállamában adták ki,
 az igazolvány névre szóló,
 az igazolvány fényképpel ellátott vagy az utas egyidejűleg más fényképes igazolvánnyal tudja igazolni személyazonosságát,
 az igazolvány érvényességi ideje megállapítható (érvényességi időtartam, vagy érvényesítő bélyegzés, matrica stb.),
 az igazolvány tartalmazza az oktatási intézmény megnevezését és székhelyét.

Ha a külföldi kiállítású diákigazolványról a képzés jellege (nappali, levelező, stb.) nem állapítható meg, azt nappali képzésre kiadott diákigazolványnak kell tekinteni. Az ún. nemzetközi diákigazolványok (amelyeket nem az oktatásért felelős hatóság, hivatal vagy oktatási intézmény, hanem diákszervezet, utazási iroda stb, pl. ISIC ad ki) alapján a kedvezmény nem vehető igénybe.
A 26 éven aluli fiataloknak szóló kedvezmény csak abban az esetben vehető igénybe, amennyiben az utas az utazása időpontjában még nem töltötte be 26. életévét.
A Budapesti fejállomásokon történő átszállás esetén két vonat akkor számít csatlakozó vonatnak, amennyiben az érkező és induló vonat ugyanazon állomásra érkezik/indul, illetve menetrend szerinti érkezési és indulási idejük között legalább 30 perc van. Amennyiben a két vonat az előbbiek szerint csatlakozó vonatnak számít, és a Keleti pályaudvaron elmulasztja a csatlakozást, úgy javasoljuk, hogy forduljon a pályaudvaron található személyes ügyfélszolgálathoz, ahol a kollégák a helyzetnek megfelelően tájékoztatják a lehetőségeiről (jegycsere, jegyvisszatérítést, stb.).
Az online vásárolt otthon nyomtatott jegy csak arra a vonatra érvényes, amelyre azt megváltják. Amennyiben a vonatot nem tudják igénybe venni, úgy a jegy a jegyvásárló felületen keresztül 10% kezelési költség felszámítása mellett téríthető vissza legkésőbb a kiválasztott vonat indulása előtt 1 órával.
Üzletszabályzatunk értelmében, ha a nemzetközi forgalomban utazó utas közvetlen nemzetközi vonatonvagy kocsiban utazik nemzetközi forgalomban érvényes menetjegyet kell
váltania, a belföldi forgalomra kiadott menetjegyek az ilyen utazáshoz nem használhatók fel. A belföldi menetjeggyel jogosulatlanul utazó utas esetén a jegyvizsgáló pótdíjazást alkalmaz.

Sa inteleg ca in cazul in care vreau sa-mi cumpar la 406, sa zicem, un bilet pana la Oradea si de acolo alt bilet pana la Bp. Keleti nu am voie?!

Dacă ,,schimbul" e pe teritoriul naşului român, nu sunt probleme, dacă însă iei bilet Oradea - Puspokladany (sper că am scris bine) şi apoi altul până la Budapesta şi nu cobori să aştepţi alt tren, eşti bun de plată.

Mersi de informatie, dar si asa mi se pare stupid... Ma rog...

mi se pare stupid sa iei doua bilete(pe doua portiuni, doua zone kilometrice) la acelasi tren, .....oricum intrebarea era cumpararea unui bilet de la Oradea - Bp. Keleti.

Mie mi se pare stupid că 2 bilete la un tren costă mai puţin decât unul singur :shock: E drept, în felul ăsta se fentează o bună parte din comisionul perceput de MAV către CFR pentru vânzare de bilete şi din cel transfrontalier (deşi suntem în UE, astea nu ar trebui să mai existe!).

Suntem in UE, dar nu suntem in SCHENGEN! Vamesii trebuie platiti. Iar ideea e ca nasii se schimba si la Biharkeresztes si la Puspokladany, insa eu am patit-o cand ma intorceam de la Budapesta cu Corona, si dupa ce am trecut de Puspokladany i-am aratat la noul nas biletul cu reducere cu carnet de Romania, si si-a dat seama ca merg in RO, eu i-am zis ca voi cobori la BIharkeresztes sa iau autobuz. A mers, dar pe ruta Curtici - Lokoshaza am impresia ca merge nasul maghiar pana la Curtici, ceea ce inseamna ca nu merge smecheria. Astept confirmare de la cei care merg pe arad. PS: Maine plec la Praga cu trec pe bucati, iar din Puspokladany prefer tren cu schimbare, pt ca acum se lucreaza pe sectiunea Szolnok - Budapesta, trenurile directe fac 4 h 15, cu schimbare 3 h 45.

Naşul ungur coboară la Curtici, de aia am stat eu 3 ore în Lokoshaza
Nu ţine nici faza cu coborâtul şi urcatul, în Lokosahaza se urcă pe o singură uşă a trenului, unde stă naşul şi verifică (şi, evident, stau şi poliţiştii de frontieră, pentru că vameşii sunt cei care colectează ,,vama", adică taxa pentru mărfurile care depăşesc anumite cantităţi).

Scuze, e vorba de politia de frontiera, nu de vamesi, m-am exprimat gresit. Mai poti sa incerci sa cumperi de pe net si sa calatoresti cu bilet cumparat din gara Arad - Lokoshaza, si apoi mai departe cu bilet de pe net, printat, pe Lokoshaza - Budapesta, nu trebuie sa mai cobori din tren, insa ... o faci pe riscul tau. In mailul acela ziceau ceva de legea transportului international pe calea ferata, tare m-as bucura sa putem face rost de ea, sa citim. Poate chiar e o aberatie creata de MAV de care nici ei nu stiu prea bine.

Sunt curios dacă asta e precizat explicit în vreun regulament MAV. Eu nu am putut să cer asta, pentru că ştiu o singură expresie în maghiară, care nu se poate ,,da pe post" şi implică nişte animale numite cai. E drept, îmi venea să i-o trântesc funcţionarului MAV...

În România nu se aplică aşa ceva, când am călătorit cu bilet direct în trafic extern întotdeauna luam bilet Bucureşti - Curtici şi bilet Curtici - Viena / Budapesta / Szeged etc. pentru a avea bilet redus prin România. De fapt, asta era şi recomandarea funcţionarei de la agenţia de voiaj şi la fel ca mine procedau toţi care au reduceri în trafic intern.

La rugamintea unui coleg, am postat posibilitatea de calatorie Cluj - Budapesta: Posibilitatile sunt urmatoarele, pentru bilete directe: cu oferta FORTUNA TICKETS: Cluj - Budapesta oferta CFR cu bilet luat cu o saptamana inainte cu 19 euro/sens, bilete nereturnabile. Pentru bilete directe luate pe loc din gara preturile sunt de 28 euro/dus, 45 euro/dus intors, + 6 euro (3+3) locurile, bilet cu valabilitate 1 luna. CU oferta TRIP TICKETS, dusul si intorsul trebuie sa se efectueze in maxim 4 zile, (pleci luni te intorci joi), tariful este de 31 de euro dus/intors, + 6 euro locurile. Acum pentru bilete pe bucati: La trenurile internationale Cluj - Budapesta, pe parcurs romanesc au rand de IR, pret Cluj - Episcopia Bihor 42 lei intreg/21 lei student cu cupoane (cine vrea vine cu TFG pana la Oradea cu 19 lei intreg/9,5 lei student). De la Episcopia la Biharkeresztes biletul transfrontalier costa 9 lei dus/16 lei dus intors (dus intors valabil 4 zile, cine sta mai mult sa isi ia separat dus si separat intors din BIharkeresztes). Biletul Biharkeresztes - Budapesta costa 4000 Ft intreg/2000 redus (64 lei intreg, 32 lei redus). Total bilet intreg din bucati, parcurs cu acelasi tren: 42 lei + 9 lei + 64 = 115 lei/dus, cu bilet intreg. Student = 21 + 9 + 32 = 62 lei. Pretul cu autocar de la Optimus Trans (este firma tatalui unei prietene) - 85 lei dus/150 lei dus intors, trece si pe la aeroport. ATENTIE! Datorita lucrarilor la linie pe ruta Biharkeresztes - Puspokladany, 2 luni de acum inainte trenurile CORONA vor circula pe ruta Brasov - Budapesta cu ocolire Oradea - Valea lui Mihai - Debrecen - Puspokladany. Linia Biharkeresztes - Puspokladany se inchide, transportul se va efectua cu autobuze. Trenurile internationale vor fi deviate prin Debrecen, cele regionale Oradea - Puspokladany se anuleaza. Deocamdata acestea sunt informatiile, insa aceasta modificare schimba doar durata de mers, nu si tarifele la bilete directe. Oradea - Budapesta va fi parcurs in aprox 6 ore 15 (in loc de 3 h 50!). In aceasta perioada recomand cumpararea biletelor directe, pe bucati va fi mult mai scump.

ATENTIE! LINIA BIharkeresztes - Puspokladany s-a inchis temporar, pentru 2 luni!

Mersul provizoriu se gaseste aici. Doar Corona circula pe toata distanta, celelalte trenuri ori sunt anulate, ori circula doar pana la Episcopia Bihor.

Văd că e transfer auto pe tronsonul închis.
