Vagoanele suferiseră deja un soi de modernizare, fiind echipate cu un soi de scaune de maxi-taxi şi iluminat cu neon, dotări care se potriveau de minune cu intercomunicaţia deschisă (mai mare plăcerea să treci dintr-un vagon în altul în mers ) şi cu încălzirea cu abur de joasă presiune.

Dar toate investiţiile sunt cvasi-inutile, câtă vreme se parcurg 125 km în 5 ore... trenul ăla are muşterii doar din lipsă de altceva. Şi lipsa de altceva e dată doar de faptul că drumul care însoţeşte linia pe toată lungimea ei nu e asfaltat în totalitate. Dacă vreodată se va asfalta tot drumul, în mod sigur se va găsi o firmă de transport auto care să circule pe acolo. Dar la cum arată infrastructura rutieră bulgărească (care nu e compusă doar din autostrada aia pe care îi dau românii blană spre Grecia), sunt şanse mici ca drumul ăla să fie asfaltat în secolul ăsta

Hello all. I have information about telegram for cancellation of trains 1090/1091 untill 14 of June. To confirmed that I search in CFRCALATORI.COM is this true. I saw that 1090/1091 will run from Craiova to Calafat untill 14 of June and from 15 of June will run just to Golenti and I think that means the train will come to Vidin. Is this correct and true?

For this moment, everybody entering Romania, except cross-border workers, truck drivers and railway personnel MUST be isolated 14 days after arrival. As long as this rule stay, any international passenger train is less likely to be operated.

Here in Bulgaria was the same, but from 1 of June everybody entering Bulgaria from EU North Macedonia and Serbia in not obligatory to stay 14 days in isulation!

From 15 of June the international connection between Craiova and Vidin with trains 1090/1091 is returned. Acording BDZ the connection Bucharest - Ruse - Sofia - Thessaloniki will returned from 6 of July and Thessaloniki - Sofia - Ruse - Bucharest from 10 of July, this doesn't have sense, but this is an official information.

Da, au EMU Desiro din trei vagoane. Parca le-au luat la mana a doua de la greci.

Da au Desiro electric si parca au lansat si ceva licitatie de material rulant

BDZ Passenger Services has announced a public procurement procedure for the supply of 16 new electric multiple units, with an estimated value of BGN 246.8 million (EUR 126.18 million).

According to the technical requirements, the new EMUs would be configured in 4 or 5 cars and will be designed for passengers with reduced mobility.

The new EMUs will be equipped with video surveillance system, Wi-Fi and catering area. They will be designed to run at speeds of 160 km/h.

The selected companies will submit technical and price offers. The price is the main criteria and should include maintenance costs and average expenses per passenger carried.

It is expected that the newly produced EMUs will be delivered within 36 months from the date of signing the contract and the first train will be delivered 24 months after its signature.

The procedure is part of a general plan to improve the conditions for passenger transport and the strategic development of state-owned railway company, including the modernisation of the existing fleet and the procurement of new rolling stock.

For the maintenance of its fleet, recently, the operator signed a EUR 70 million contract with Alstom.
