Malaxa

Servus, ich bin wieder zurueck und habe wieder eine Frage:) Sind Malaxa immer in Betrieb? Und auf welche Strecke, bitte? Ich habe ein Plan nach Romania fahren ( wie jeder Jahr ) und ist es fur mich sehr interresante Information.

Die Malaxa sind in Betrieb au folgenden Strecken: Arad- Chisineu Cris (R 3745, 3746, 3747), Arad-Grosswardei (R 3111 und R 3114), Arad-Temeswar (R 2608, 2611).
Temeswar-Busiasch-Ilia (nicht alle Zuge), Pitesti-Piatra Olt- Caracal, Piatra Olt-Ramnicu valcea, Piatra Olt- Craiova, Konstantza-Mangalia, Suceava-Botosani und Suceava-Dornesti.

Bei Arad,Timisoara und Konstanza ist das die Baureihe 78, nich wahr Und eine Baureihe 77 bei Suceava und Pitesti?

Timisoara hat keine 78, nur 77 die nach Lugoj uber Busiasch und Lugoj-Margina fahren.

Piteşti (Piteşti - Caracal, Piatra Olt - Craiova, Piatra Olt - Rm. Vâlcea): 77
Suceava: 77
Constanţa (Dep. Medgidia): 78-700

that i can't tell, i've traveled several times between Lugoj and Ilia and i can say for sure that R 2183 (and 2184 too) has two green malaxa 77 cars, and that these are the only trains with malaxa cars between Lugoj and Ilia

there are a few trains with malaxas on the Timisoara-Buzias-Lugoj line too, a year ago when i was there i saw that R 9610 that runs from Buzias to Lugoj in an early hour had a malaxa car, apart from this on, i don't know

and on the other topic: no, not every train between Piatra Olt and Podu Olt has malaxa cars

Since the situation might have changed since the above answers were posted, I wonder if it is possible to know what trains in the Arad/Timisoara and Caracal/Piatra Olt areas that at present are formed by Malaxas (or at least on which lines they are used). Any information would be appreciated!

You'll surely find them on Timişoara - Radna, Caracal - Zimnicea and Caracal - Piatra Olt (Regio trains). But there are also several trains in the area formed from AM900, hopefully someone will list them.
