IR 1684 = 130 minute intarziere la sosire in Bucuresti Nord fata de 18.20 ora normala de sosire.

473-2 - 72 minute intarziere la Bucuresti.

Oh really ? I just come from Greece so in this country gipsy people let some railways without the signaling sistem too so the part with North Africa is overreacted. The same in Germany and Spain this year...

Hello everyone!

I need some information about the usual delays of train 1691 (Bucuresti Nord - Timisoara Nord). Does somebody know how late it usually arrives at Timisoara Nord?

I also read about the 60+ delay of 1821 at Bucuresti Nord. Does the train compensate the delay after Bucuresti or does it increase it? I am wondering what time it usually arrives at Petrosani and Subcetate.

@EuroDance ,the train comes with 90+ minutes from Constanta,as all the trains that travel between Constanta and Bucuresti do.But in Bucuresti Nord the train should wait 30 minutes for loco+other coaches to attach to it.. So instead of wainting 30 minutes it does this in probably 6,7,8 minutes,maximum 10,and then leaves,so on all the stations the train gains some time..Now at Tg Jiu it can gain as much as 20 minutes of tardiness but,after Tg Jiu , the train comes on single track again,so beeing late,it has to wait for other trains that come and pass on schedule.. so actually the time it arives in Petrosani(from Livezeni also double track again) may vary from day to day ... The usual delay in Petrosani is 40 minutes minimum... I hope that MariusD,can post some delays on a daily basis for 1821..

Thanks for the information. Is there any chance that the signaling infrastructure between Bucuresti and Constanta will be repaired until the end of April?

P.S.: I was planning to travel by 1821 from Constanta to Subcetate and then catch 1824 back to Craiova but a delay higher than 20-30 minutes on Subcetate would make this completely impossible...

Yes. But acording to Relu Fenechiu who is in charged with the ministry of transport, but for me personnaly as a passenger,I'm not 100% sure yet. Plus the same Fenechiu has a black reputation so maybe will not remain until april.

It's going to be risky , but you can judge by the arrival in Petrosani .. The train usually recovers about 5 minutes of delay between Petrosani and Subcetate ... So if the train arrives later than 6:25 in Petrosani there is going to be a big problem ... and you will not make that connection in Subcetate .. Also , there are no direct connections between Simeria(via Subcetate) to Craiova .. so your next great connection will be R2704+R2086..
They've started retrofitting the M800 signals ,but it's goint to take forever i think

Too bad there are no other IR trains between Simeria and Craiova during the light part of the day.

Any information about the delays of 1691? I'm going to take it from Craiova to Timisoara. Hopefully it doesn't make delays up to 120 minutes since I will have to catch 12843 afterwards...

Prin Ungaria a venit o zapada mare si viscol, pe cale ferata nici un tren nu mai circula fara intarzieri,in general au 250 de minute 407-2 este oprit in Karcag cu +300 si asta o sa mai creasca, iar Ister 473stationeaza-n Szolnok momentan are vreo 4ore de intarziere si nici o sansa sa-i dea drumul prea curand, cale ferata este inzapezita si posibil sunt probeleme mari cu catenara.

473-2 nu a intrat in tara la ora asta. 407-2 acum este prin Oradea.

Asta e diseara vor face o alta garnitura pentru IC 472.
