Hi :)Got a question about train R 4014. In what period it's running from TIrgu Mures and in what from Deda ? In the book mersul trenurilor I have it's writted ''in periods of repairment activities on the route it's running from Deda''. Do you have any idea if it will be running from the new timetable between Tirgu Mures and Brasov or you have no information still about the timetable for 2014

For the moment you can only rely on local train 4014 Tirgu Mures - Brasov on weekends (saturday and sunday). Normally the train should be daily, but in 9 months it was rather cancelled on Tirgu Mures - Deda instead of just running. I don't know why they needed so many days, weeks, months to work at the tracks, hence there are no major improvements. There are some spots on my line where the terrain is not stable, even the mechanics told me they are afraid to run with 70 km/h if the train still acts like a roller coaster.

The only thing to do (if you wish to visit line 400 for its astonishing scenery), is to wait until the beginning of November when first timetables are introduced in .pdf documents and spread between us (it's quite unofficial, AND illegal, but still helpful for us to planify our trips in advance).

It is not illegal. It is only against CFR S.A.'s internal rules (not against the law).

What my coleg forgot to mention, the CFR says that there aren`t passengers ( Only in Romania you can see something like that). Be patient and you´ll see from 9.december if the train runing on all of distance.
