Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) appointed special trains

In the period 24.05. - 03.06.2012 including, BDZ (Bulgarian State Railways) appointed special amusement trains between Sofia and Bankya, with steam locomotive:

Regio (KPV) 13293 Sofia 10.30 - 10.55 Bankya
Regio (KPV) 13294 Bankya 11.40 - 12.05 Sofia
Regio (KPV) 13295 Sofia 15.10 - 15.35 Bankya
Regio (KPV) 13296 Bankya 16.00 - 16.25 Sofia

Composition of trains: up to 7 second-class carriages pulled by steam locomotive 01.23.

Trains will not stop at intermediate stations.

Price of tickets:

- Single: 2.50 leva.
- Return: 5.00 leva.

Any news on the coaches that were in Aiud ? Have any of them return in Bulgaria?

2 cars seria 20-47, but with problems in electrical system. The changes are: replacement of wheelsets and the toilets, in the toiletthey placed buttons for flush the water. Seat covers is not changed. Outside they have been painted.

Inter Regio (BV) 3692 Varna 11:15 – Sindel 11:52 – 12:17 – Asparuhovo 13:05
Inter Regio (BV) 3693 Asparuhovo 16:45 – Sindel 17:33 – 17:48 – Varna 18:28

Composition of trains: 3 second-class carriages pulled by steam locomotive 03.12.

Trains will not stop at others intermediate stations.

Price of tickets:

- Return: 20.00 leva.

The tickets are purchased from station ticket offices in Varna.
